This is the minimum rate at step one of the grades. Higher rates may be authorized in cases of hard-to-fill positions where it is appropriate to the qualifications of the appointee.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the four FSM Stated in the development and improvement of youth programs through the provision of technical assistance and consultancy; seek regional and international cooperation and collaboration with youth organization to improve interaction with these organization; promotes seen of unity , nationalism and good will among FSM Citizen through activities and programs; seek and coordinate financial assistance from within and outside of the FSM for youths projects , activates and training; implement at the national level and assist at the state level; implementation of the recommendations from Annual FSM Youth Leadership conference; provide on an annual basis, a forum through which youth, parents and youth service providers can share their experiences, aspirations, pressing youth issues and develop possible solutions of these through consolidated effort; review appropriate implementing departments. To facilitate in each island, an avenue by which cultural practices are passed down to youth, for cultural preservation, but also as protective factors against youth committing crimes, using drugs, teen pregnancy and other issues plaguing our communities; to find a health approach to the use of social media to engage the youth in communicating our language, culture practices, values and beliefs; To improve youth service networks in each island context; and performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Administration, Youth or Human Service, or a related field of study plus five (5) years of work experience in related field
