This is the minimum rate at step one of the grade.  Higher rates may be authorized in cases of hard-to-fill positions where it is appropriate to the qualification of the appointee.

DUTIES (ILLUSTRATION ONLY):
Prepares and analyzes cash flow reports and other financial reports to the branch; Supervises and coordinates all FSM Cash transactions which also include all FSM TCD investments here and abroad; Plans and develops detailed accounting procedures for collection and disbursement of FSM General Fund; Interprets laws and regulations governing the collection and disbursement of all FSM General Funds; Collects and disburse FSM General Funds in accordance with established laws and regulations; Deposits all collections on daily basis into the National Government account in the bank; Makes disbursement pursuant to certified vouchers on all bank accounts; Reviews and coordinates the work of subordinates within the treasury sections; Instructs subordinates on theories, principles, practices, and techniques of governmental accounting; Prepares and complete accurate reports for the assigned branch; Batch up cash receipts, APV’s and checks on a daily basis; Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree or major in accounting or related field and at least two (2) years of experience. Must be computer literate, most preferable w/Excel & Power Point.
