POSITION AND SALARY:
Family Planning Coordinator
Pay Level 36/1
$862.12 + $40 COLA = $902.12 B/W

This is the minimum rate at step one of the grade.  Higher rates may be authorized in cases of hard-to-fill positions where it is appropriate to the qualification of the appointee.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Produce all memoranda, letters correspondence and reports for the FSM states as required by the UNPFA-Funded Reproductive Health and Title X Family Planning Program; responsible for the monitoring of UNFPA Funded RH/FP/SRH and Title X Family Planning activities in the four FSM States and providing inputs/ comments for improvement; responsible to the overall day to day planning and implementation of the administrative and non-medical aspect of all the UNFPA funded Family Health project and Title X Family Planning Program activities including projects that ensuring compliance with organizational goals and donor requirements; assist the FSM states Family Planning programs in writing up their respective work plans budget narratives and consolidated with the FSM Family Planning Program Work Plan and Budget for Submission to title X grantor and UNFPA; responsible to write up the Title X Family Planning Program Grant application cycle as well as the annual NCC application grant and submit through grantsolutions.gov; monitors and evaluates program activities and objectives to make sure they are carried out in accordance with program goals including the analysis of data preparation of reports on progress challenges and financial expenditures; collaborate with other related programs at the National and state level to improve the effectiveness of the Family Planning Program and RH Program in the FSM; prepare and submit all required program reports and applications to immediate supervisor funding agencies and other affiliated entities; supports and collaborate with non-governmental organizational on Family Planning Promotional as well as SRH Issues; attends local and off-island meetings and conferences related to any of these FP/SRH programs; perform other assignments and tasks assigned by the MCH Program Manager and or the Secretary of the FSM Department of Health and Social Affairs; performs other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements:
Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Services, Public Health, Community Planning, or a related field, plus three to four years of experience coordinating public health, reproductive health, family planning, or maternal and child health programs.
