 This is the minimum rate at step one of the grade.  Higher rates maybe authorized in cases of hard-to-fill positions where it is appropriate to the qualification of the appointee.

DUTIES&RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for inspecting and reporting on virtually every phrase of the construction process, including but not limited to civil (site work), structural building, electrical, mechanical, indoor air quality, safety, and hazardous material; ensure that all contract documents represents by working drawings and specifications are properly executed by the contractors; responsible for establishing and maintaining a professional working relationship with architects, engineers, testing labs, general contractors and sub-contractors; check and verify all materials stored on and off site for payments as well as materials used in site construction against submittal and check and verify the installation of materials and equipment; provide weekly job site construction progress also verify pre-construction existing building and site conditions when necessary and performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Graduation of Apprentice School of Vocational Institute plus four (4) years of work experience in carpenter or related field.
