DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as the primarily leader of the Division; lead operation and capital development; and develop and maintain long-range budgetary financial models and internal controls; implement best mechanism for the review of budgetary units to identify opportunities to more effectively deploy the financial resources; lead, manage, and coach budget staff of being budget professionals; be accountable for training and professional development of staff; emphasize accountability and transparency among the financial team; performs analyses, make recommendations on policy to the institution’s leadership, and advocate and lead enhancements and innovative budgeting techniques; work closely with departments and agencies operations and administrative officers, financial assistance and program managers to understand their departmental needs; collect budget information, translate and interpret budget data, and accurately model current and future initiatives under different scenarios; lead and coordinate a multi annua planning process and ensure its successful implementation; Oversee the production of monthly and quarterly reports; present data, findings, and trends to superior and the Secretary of Finance; promote a culture that coaches non-financial faculty and staff to understand the budgetary process; facilitate, assess and report revenue updates to the Secretary of the Department of Finance and Administration; coordinate review and analysis of every Congress bill; ensure strong working relationships with other departments/team; perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Graduated from an accredited College or University with a Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field plus five (5) years of professional accounting work experience or related field.
